This Lake is situated in Alkaduwa,
Matale district. One side of this lake is surrounded by Tea plantations &
other side is situated by forest. Many foreigners come to visit this
Lake Specially tourists from Dry zone countries like middle east.Since it is
more depth visitors are not allow to swim or bath in the Lake. There's a
swimming pool on one side off the lake. Visitors can swim & enjoy in that
pool. Any one who visit this place comes to imagine about Nuwara Eliya. The
climate is also quite cold but lower than Nuwara Eliya. Most of the people in
this area are Tamil people. But it is difficult to find a Shop to buy foods or
any other item in this area. Therefore if you are coming to visit this lake
bring every thing you want.
